So we just took the wedding invitations to Kinko's. We'll be printing the labels and whatnot this weekend and hopefully mailing on Monday. Once we send the invites out this shit is for reals, son! lol Very exciting! Tue, Apr. 29th, 2008, 02:16 am
So apparently I'm supposed to graduate soon. VERY WEIRD. Our caps and gowns are in the student life office right this moment. VERY WEIRD.
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with myself without school. I mean, I've been going to school for the past 16 years! Now all of a sudden I'm "free."
That's assuming I finish my freaking final project though...I'm seriously waaaay behind it's pretty awful. I have a lot of long nights ahead of me until my presentation next Tuesday. I've pulled work out of my ass faster than this so, so I'm trying not to worry too much about it. It's just so weird!!! Fri, Jan. 4th, 2008, 10:27 pm
New Year's Resolutions:

My studio final presentation was a disaster today. I can't take it anymore. I got ripped a new one. I have no idea how I'm going to get the rest of my work done by Thursday. Someone save me. My stomach hurts from all the stress. Sun, Dec. 10th, 2006, 08:39 pm
So...spent a grand total of 13 hours at school yesterday, and probably will end up with about the same today. So much to do. I'm building a model right now of the swim club I designed. Then I have to work on my 3D model on the computer and write a 5 page paper by tomorrow afternoon. Yuck. I can't wait till this week is over. Sat, Sep. 9th, 2006, 10:34 pm
Sooo...turns out this Famous Footwear job kind SUCKS so I put in my notice today. I've never outright quit a job because I didn't like it, so I felt bad. But it's too much trouble for me to drive 14 miles to a job I don't like when I could be working more hours at work study which is RIGHT across the street from me and pays me a DOLLAR more per hour. So. Today was it. Well, almost it. I have Reviews on Tuesday, but I'm not concerned with that. Thursday I have to present my portfolio for Business Practices. But basically, that's it. Somehow I got an A in History of Interior Design??? Mathematically impossible, but whatever Dr. Brunk.
Still looking for an apartment. Having a cat makes it that much more difficult.
Staying here for the summer. Not sure what I'm going to do for money yet!!! I'm hoping I can still do work study in the design library, although it will be ungodly boring. I guess I have to really start looking now. The end of the year really snuck up on me. It's still not sinking in that I don't have any classes next week. Or the week after that. Or the week after that.
Taking an online class from CCAC over the summer, World Religions. It's only $80 a credit! My school is almost $800 a credit! So I'm getting a good deal! Mon, Jan. 2nd, 2006, 11:17 am
It should not be raining in January. Seriously. Mon, Dec. 19th, 2005, 12:53 am
So today we went to the movies and saw Rent, which was awesome. Very sad though. Came home and procrastinated packing for home, so here I am still doing laundry at 1am. We were planning to leave at 9am but I don't think it's gonna happen. At least we already got gas, just have to check the oil and washer fluid and put everything in the car. Can't wait to get my iRiver for xmas!!! Got two of my final grades so far, Design Sources was an A, and Autocad was an A, so far so good. I'm really anxious to see my studio grade though. As long as I make Dean's list again, I'm cool. Not really in the mood for driving home, but am I ever? I have my mp3 CD megamix all ready to go, so I can sing the whole way, that makes it better.

Check this out. So now you can buy a CD player for LESS THAN THE PRICE OF THE FUCKING CD ITSELF. And the RIAA wonders why so many people are turning to the internet for free or cheaper music. Think about it. Titanic cost, what, $300,000,000 to make, but I can still buy it on DVD for $15. I highly doubt a CD could cost that much to produce. And yet a CD will set me back $13 at Walmart, $16 or $17 at Mediaplay, even more at Coconuts or FYE. Honestly I don't even use CDs anymore. I rip them to my computer and listen to them there. Maybe the music industry needs to face that technology will not go away. Hard drive based music players are becoming cheaper and cheaper, more people are moving to digital based music. Maybe the music industry needs to do so as well. Sat, Nov. 12th, 2005, 07:21 pm

I just heard the funniest awesome cover of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit by none other than Paul Anka in a cool jazzy weird style and it was so fricking awesome everyone download it. Tue, Jun. 28th, 2005, 12:49 am
Finally got to see Mike today. We went to the mall and to the pet store then back to my house. Then we went to Applebee's for dinner then to the movies to see Mr and Mrs Smith, which was awesome if you ask me.

Stolen from dustrabies:
Please leave an anon. comment with a secret, or something you could never tell me in person. It could be serious, humorous, something you have never told a soul, something about me, or you, anything! Even if you aren't on my friends list, even if you are just watching from afar. I will have no idea who these are from. Thank you that is all. Thu, Feb. 24th, 2005, 11:55 pm
I made fried oreos. They are frickin easy to make, and DELICIOUS. Here is a recipe if you wish to try this at home.
Ingredients # 1 cup buttermilk pancake mix # 3/4 cup ice water # 1 quart vegetable oil # 1 sleeve of Oreo cookies (14 each) # 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar
Directions
1. Freeze cookies for 3 hours.
2. In a heavy-gauge 3-quart saucepot heat oil to 350 degrees F.
3. While oil is heating, set up a sheetpan with paper towels for draining.
4. In a medium-sized mixing bowl stir water into buttermilk pancake mix with a wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. As soon as batter is smooth, dip each cookie, one at a time, into batter and smooth batter, making a thin coat completely around the cookie. Place coated cookie carefully into hot oil. Repeat for each cookie. Fry on both sides, turning over once until golden brown.
5. Remove fried cookie from hot oil with metal tongs and drain on paper towels. Dust with confectioners sugar.
6. Let cool slightly (about 2 minutes) before serving.
